Summary Report 3rd EU Water Conference
DG Environment of the European Commission organised the 3rd European Water Conference. The Conference served as a platform for consultation and debate on the Blueprint policy options to deliver better implementation, integration, and completion of EU water policy, also addressing the impact assessment that will accompany the Blueprint.
3-4 September: Next EUWMA meeting in the Netherlands
The next EUWMA annual meeting 2012 will take place on September 3-4 in Boxtel near ’s-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands. The starting time is 09h00 on September 3rd and the meeting will be finished at 14h00 on September 4th. We are currently finalizing the programme for this meeting. For now we would like to ask you to save the date in your agendas.
22-25 May: Green Week: Every drop counts
From 22-25 May, the European Commission organised their annual Green Week. Theme this year was water. Therefore, this year’s week was called: “The Water Challenge – Every Drop Counts”. Some 3000 participants gathered for three days to discuss water-related issues.
Cambridge Declaration
The last EUWMA meeting was held in Cambridge on 5-6 September 2011. During this meeting EUWMA developed the Cambridge Declaration about the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) 2014-2020.
